A Time As This

Belonging is such a big thing. Firstly within one’s own skin, then in your family & the wider community. But the most certain form of belonging comes when we belong to God.

Do you feel like you belong, that this is your moment? Or are you more uncertain about, well, everything?

I guess more often than not I am dogged by uncertainty. Sometimes my faith in God is resolute and so strong. But there are times when it is just so faint & I am left with only the suggestive.

Did you know there is a book in the Bible that only offers the mere suggestion that God could be at work in the background? The irony is it is so suggestive it does not even mention God. Not once…

But there is an undeniable feeling that something deeply mysterious and yet unbelievably profound is at work in the midst of it all.
