Ice Pop Sunday

I Got This Ice Pop Where My Heart Used To Be…

Don’t have an Ice Pop where your heart used to be, stay after the service and get involved in the Mission of God. This Sunday at CityHill after the service we are going to take the Common giving out 200 Ice Pops. We would absolutely love it if you could come to the Common to help us put a smile on peoples faces.

Do you remember the Tango Adverts of the 90’s?

The orange man running around slapping people in the face with the taste Tango. I remember hearing an Evangelist in the Noughties saying we have done Evangelism a bit like the Tango ads. Running up to people saying, ‘Jesus loves you’ then quick as a flash we are gone.

It was a funny illustration at the time. But as it is growing ever more difficult to talk about faith in the public space. I often think we would be better off pleasantly surprising people, just like in the Tango ads.

This Sunday – that is exactly what we are going to do. Armed with Ice Pops and invite cards we are going to go Tango people on Clapham Common after church. What better way to introduce people to our church CityHill than giving away free Ice Pops in the Summer heat.

Let’s get out there and do the Tango, wait… That’s something completely different entirely.

Picnic On The Common

Because Mission is such thirsty/hungry work why not stay around after. Grab some food to enjoy on the common. There are a number of good takeaway restaurants close by and supermarkets.
